Hand and Bar Soaps

Why are these gifts a good choice for Him, Her, Teens, and the Elderly? In today’s time with stay at home quarantines and Coronavirus, hand soaps and bar soaps are hot commodities! It also makes a useful and nice birthday gift. Although it may be considered boring any other year, for this year, recipients are more likely to think these are thoughtful as gifts and grateful for extra stash of cleaning supplies. For females, hand and bar soaps would make wonderful gifts. For male recipients, you may want to consider the more masculine scents that are available for men instead or ones that do not have scents at all. Teens and elderly would appreciate the useful gift as they are likely not able to go out as much as others may be able to.

Where can you get hand soap and bar soap?  Bath and Body Works is one of my go-to places for hand soaps. My favorite is the Aromatherapy collection which often have the most relaxing scents. The hand soaps often have a good fragrance and the packaging is always nice. Get a few at a time, and you can give the gift in the Bath and Body Works bag to put the purchases in.

If you want to go fancier routes, you can opt for L’occitane, Aveda, or other natural soap stores online that offer pretty gift packaging and gift sets. You can also find specialty soap individually or sometimes in packages at stores like Home Goods, Tj Maxx, Ross, etc.

If you are on a budget, regular hand and body soap are found at Walmart, Target, grocery stores, dollar stores, and Walgreens and CVS. Packaged nicely, hand soaps makes a useful and nice gift at the same time. At this time, useful gifts may be much more valuable. As a side gift, another option to consider are those hotel soaps that you may have gotten previously and haven’t used and are willing to part with now. In today’s times, there is a short supply of hand soaps and bar soaps, so it is best to not be picky.

**NOTE OF CAUTION: Be cautionary about any allergies that the Birthday One may have.
